As for any exciting details in our daily lives, there aren't many. Aaron and I have opposite schedules, which means precious few hours together. When we do have time, it's usually filled with errands, such as running the family dachshund puppy to the emergency clinic this last Sunday. He was dropped 7 feet off the stairway, resulting is bruised lungs. (He's fine now). That took 5 lovely hours of our evening!
Today also surprised us with wonderful news when we took the mustang in to replace the brake pads. Found out that the rotors are all rusting, caused by the salt spread on Idaho roads when it snows. Also, the front calipers need replacing asap. All of this costing about 700. So, instead we are looking at replacing the mustang with equal value car that will give us better gas mileage. We'll see what happens. I pretty much hate cars right now. We've had many other car issues this year as well, so I'm done with the stress of them at the moment.
As for work, I've dealt with a lot of drama at the salon, which I guess salon's are known for, but enough is enough. The drama aspect isn't too bad right now because there's only me and the manager. However, the fact that there are only two of us means no days off, except Sundays because we're closed. Hopefully we find someone soon. I was lucky enough to have today off. (Doctor wanted me to get blood work done to check cholesterol.) Aaron's work is fairly good. It's not as busy as he want's it to be, but he's doing pretty good.
Aaron starts school in August. We're excited to get that going again so we can move on to the career stage of our lives. He will be studying radio broadcasting. Can't wait to get it done! I'm just glad I'm done with school.
I realize that a lot of this post sounds slightly depressing, but life is good. I have the most wonderful husband who spoils me. He made me breakfast in bed last Sunday morning just because I had a long hard week. He insisted on taking me shopping for clothes today. I didn't find anything, but he was wonderful to think of me. Those are just two of the many things he does for me. He always takes care of me. So, really I shouldn't complain when I am so blessed. Well, hopefully I did enough rambling even for my mother to enjoy. I'll try to keep up with it a little better so my posts won't be so epic. (Even though I know I won't).
